Helping parents by mentoring kids
to live in Wisdom’s Ways
At CLM we believe that hands on, topical learning inspires more creativity and autonomy than other forms of learning. Additionally, having a mentor to student ratio of only 1:5 allows for personalized education.

We believe God created each unique family and placed in it each unique child-to teach them to love Jesus, to learn to live God’s plan for their lives and to glorify His name. Our goal is to assist parents by providing a supplemental, creative educational environment, led by intentional mentorship.
Meet the Founders & Tutors

Cofounder and Senior Tutor
I grew up in “the good ole days” learning at a young age to work hard, be kind and love Jesus. In Bible college I learned to study, to learn, and to think logically. After getting married, moving to California and having children, I soon realized I did not want them going to conventional school and God led me to homeschool my 4 children. We homeschooled through high school and into adult education. Years later, I am a proud mother of 4 amazing and wonderful well- adjusted and responsible adults. I am mother-in-law to 4 amazing and wonderful people and Granny to 10 fearfully and wonderfully made Little people.
I love my family and I still love Jesus. I have a passion to see children enjoy learning to their fullest capacity in fun, interactive and creative ways. To help them realize God loves them and has a plan for their individual little selves. I also have a desire to help parents through child training challenges. To discover God’s wisest ways of child training.
I am drawn to beauty and enjoy creating and making art. I have a passion for painting and drawing and I love to share with others.
Deziree’ Larsen
Cofounder and Tutor
Hi there, you can call me Dez.
Throughout the last 15 years I’ve worked with many ages of children in various settings, such as the Awana program, Sunday school, youth group, art lessons and nannying.
One of the most valuable things I learned during homeschool is that it’s possible (and preferable) to be self taught. This gave me the freedom to choose anything I wanted to do, educate myself on the topic and pursue it. My goal is to pass this autonomy and passion for learning on to every child.
At CLM whether we’re teaching home economics, art, or Bible, we love integrating as many principles as possible such as concepts pertaining to science, math, and history.
I consider it a privilege to come alongside your child and encourage in them the highest standard of character and academic development.
